Portland, Oregon. This month in Portland, friendly neighborhood antifa chose to violently attack a group of Christians holding a prayer event. People worshipping God were attacked with pepper-spray, flash-bombs, black paint, rotten eggs, and even chunks of concrete were thrown at attendees of the Christian prayer event.
Expensive sound equipment was also damaged and thrown into the nearby Willamette River by the atrocious antifa terrorists. Videos posted by Andy Ngo on Twitter show dozens of armed antifa members in all-black riot gear to intimidate and attack Christians. Children as young as 4 months old reportedly had flash bangs thrown at them by the antifa terrorist group.
Attacks are not only perpetrated on the streets but also in the churches. Earlier this year in July attacks on Christian churches and a Christian High School in Nigeria left over 100 students kidnapped, and 33 citizens murdered, according to Kentucky Today. Also in Nigeria this August, a Christian church was demolished by force, including the intimidation of Christians, a suddenly destroyed church building, and the wounding of five Christians, and murder of one via gunshot reportedly. In Afghanistan as of this month, Christians are being murdered for their faith in Jesus Christ, where according to Dr. Rex Rogers of SAT-7 North America, Christians whose phones are demanded by the taliban and found with a Bible downloaded, may be murdered immediately if they refuse to deny their faith.
As the world is in pure chaos and confusion, the only hope we have is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Far too many people have turned their backs on the chance to feel loved, valued, joyful, strong, to know our Purpose, to know what is Real and True, the things we find if we'll just follow our Creator! Sadly, the ones that do accept this wonderful Gift are often persecuted, emotionally discouraged, and physically attacked and even murdered for following Jesus. There are far too many stories to list of the attacks on people worshipping our Lord.
All of the above proves the fact undeniable that the devil is seeking to gain a foothold on souls via temptation, confusion, and lies in these last days. “Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.” - 1 Peter 5:8. Satan relies on those not following God, those that don't know God but only know him, to do his dirty work. “Submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” - James 4:7. All we have to do to discourage and defeat the enemy is to follow God, believe Him, honor Him, live our lives by His Holy Word. If we will live for our Lord, He will guide us through the beautiful life He has planned for us. God’s Word needs to be spread to everyone, everywhere. As we Christians fight the good fight, The Holy Spirit will continue to find more people to dwell in, more worshippers, more of God’s children, and more people in this world will begin to receive a Sound Mind, and The Answer, His Name is Jesus Christ.
